BREAKTHROUGH PRAYERS FOR A GLORIOUS WEEK
Theme: Prayer Against the Spirit of Anger!
Ecclesiastes 7:9 – Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools. (KJV)
Supporting Texts: Proverbs 14:29, 15:1 & 18, 19:11, 29:11, Psalms 37:8-9, Ephesians 4:26-31, Colossians 3:8, James 1:19-20, 4:1-2.
Instruction: Pray with the help of the Holy Spirit and spend quality time as led, applying each prayer point to your own circumstances.
1. Father, thank You for the gift of sleeping, waking, health, and provision, in Jesus’ name.
2. Father, I don’t want to be a slave to Satan anymore. Please, forgive my sins and give me a new life, in Jesus’ name.
3A. I refuse to be a fool again! Therefore, in the name of Jesus, I dethrone the spirit of:
— Anger, pride, envy, malice, unforgiveness, hypocrisy, and a negative mindset, that is operating in my life.
3B. Father, let the Holy Spirit, be enthroned in my life right now, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
4. I receive the grace for calmness, power, and wisdom, never to fall into the devil’s trap of anger and hatred anymore, in Jesus’ name.
5. I frustrate the plan of hell to make me destabilised in order to lose my appointed time and blessings, in Jesus’ name.
6. Father, please give me a patient heart and a discerning spirit, to know when to act and not to react, in Jesus’ name.
7. Father, let Your Holy Spirit come upon me strongly, to direct my steps to the path of greatness this week and beyond, in Jesus’ name.
8. As an individual, family, nation, and church, we recover every blessing we lost to anger, misunderstandings, and religiousness, in Jesus’ name.
9. I place a demand on the host of heaven to fight my battles and secure my victory, in Jesus’ name.
10. Insist in the place of prayer and pray in the Holy Ghost until you are released!
Why not begin to give thanks to God and appreciate Him for answers to prayers. As you do this, a seal of honour is coming upon you. Glory to Jesus!
