ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE
1 Kings 17:1-24 (6) – The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook. (NIV)
God ordered Elijah to hide in the creek where He fed him through the ravens. According to Psalm 147:9, we understand that God feeds the young ravens that call out, which perhaps explains that ravens are naturally selfish because they abandon their offspring at birth. But, as seen in our Bible reading, it was this same bird that the Lord commanded to bring bread and flesh twice daily during Elijah’s stay at Cherith. Another striking question is: ‘Where do they get the food, and how did they know the timing and location?’ The Almighty God orchestrated all things (Matthew 19:26).
Several years back, Pastor E. A. Adeboye’s convoy was caught up in traffic when he was running late for a ministration. Suddenly, a typical mad man showed up to control the traffic until the convoy passed, and this psycho gave a salute before he left.
Beloved, when your ways please God, He can make a value out of the stupidest things or circumstances (1 Corinthians 1:27). No matter the intensity of your challenge today, never look down on yourself or anyone because heaven can use ‘Anything’ to assist you. Remember! It was Naaman’s maidservant that God used to save him (2 Kings 5:1-19). Be sensitive, open-minded and adherent to God’s move this new month because your names, complexion, height, address, pet, strangers, dreaded enemy, messenger or even the stingy like the ravens can be the link to your breakthroughs.
PRAYER
Hymn: He Leadeth Me — Joseph H. Gilmore (1862)
1. Father, thank You for Your care for me, my family and the nation.
2. Lord Jesus, help me never to look down on myself, anyone or circumstances.
3. Father, please send ceaseless help to me this March (Ask for a special first-day miracle).
(MIDNIGHT PRAYER)
1. Give praises to God.
2. I decree! The Lord shall supply my needs, and I shall never beg for bread.
3. Father, with Your mighty hands, rescue me from the murky waters.
HAPPY NEW MONTH OF HONOUR!
