A NEW SEASON
Isaiah 43:19 – See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. (NIV)
A new season is a fresh chapter. When a product is rebranded, it gets a brand-new name, which means that we can expect a change of an unfavourable circumstance. For example, it could be a new era of breakthrough from a predicament (diseases and oppression). Similarly, a new season can be the attainment of a higher feat in career or marriage. Whatever represents a new season in your life, I decree that it has begun — No more dwelling in the dry land. Receive divine speed to move forward and fly higher, in Jesus’ name.
Have you noticed that a new season birth an opportunity to restart what was forgone? Sarah is an excellent example because she had long passed menopause when she became a mother at age 90. The woman experienced an unusual shift and said: “God has made me laugh” (Genesis 21:1-7). A new season also unveils a unique identity. When the blind beggar in John 9:1-11 got his sight, the neighbours could not recognise him, and they began to argue. As the Lord lives, this July, your mockers shall know that indeed you serve a living God.
Beloved, the good news is that a new season should be a constant occurrence to every child of God who maintains a holy life, prays, and believes in the divine promises. Today’s Bible reading gives an assurance that God is the doer of new things, and a new thing is equal to a new season. Heaven is ready, and everything is set in place for your new season. However, the ball is in your court. A NEW SEASON could be an era for anything. Be sensitive to God’s move and tell Him what you want your new season to be. As you faith it out in prayers and with diligence, you are next to testify!
