A CHANGE OF STORY
Luke 1:37 – For with God nothing shall be impossible. (KJV)
For twelve years, the woman with the blood issue spent all her resources searching for a cure, but all to no avail. However, one day, she met the One who has the final say, and her story changed (Mark 5:25-34). Similarly, Lazarus had died for days and was buried, but when Jesus stepped in, he who was already decaying jumped back to life (John 11:10-45). I pray for someone reading this devotional; irrespective of the unfavourable medical and legal report concerning you and children, God shall overturn it, in Jesus’ name!
Many years back, a woman was diagnosed with a damaged womb which was eventually removed. But a few years ago, she was delivered of a set of quadruplets (two boys and two girls). What about the class dullard, Dr Ben Carson, who became one of the world’s best neurosurgeon? That is why I am led to ask what your issues are because it does not matter if nature was against you, when you are in Christ, as our Bible text says, all things are possible!
Therefore, are you experiencing challenges in your marriage, finance, businesses, career, ministry, or you are finding it hard to pray and please God? Maybe families and friends have even belittled so that neighbours have mocked you. Do not worry! “They don’t determine the cause of your life, only God does”. Therefore, you want to cry to Him for a change of story.
Hymn: I Must Tell Jesus — Elisha A. Hoffman (1894)
1. Thank God for life, His grace and almightiness.
2. By the power of God that divided the Red Sea, let my story change!
1. Curses of repeated problems in my life, expire!
2. Pray for families, friends, churches and nations facing challenging situations.
3. Tell God what and how you want the ending of that issue(s) to be.
YOU MAY BE DOWN, BUT NOT OUT. YOU ARE COMING UP!
