GOD IS GOOD!
Psalm 55:22 – Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. (KJV)
Read: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-26
People pay for oxygen to breathe. Some gentlemen and ladies sleep on the streets. Likewise, some have food but can’t eat. Many have millions in the bank but are no more. This is not a mockery but an eye-opener to the dimension of God’s mercies and grace in the lives of His people. Therefore, thanks be to God for making you a recipient of the blessings of life and spiritual benefits.
Nevertheless, in a world where things seem harsher than imagined, you may have focused mainly on what you have not acquired instead of what God has already done for you. Whatever you are still expecting or issues you may be experiencing that look like all hope is lost, refuse to give up because the problem will soon fade away, and your testimony shall manifest (Psalms 30:5).
Beloved, while in the waiting room, stay connected to the Lord, for He is good. If you have listened to other people’s stories, you will discover that your cross is too small for the Almighty to handle. As the Bible text for today admonishes, put your trust and burden on Him, be intentionally positive, prayerful, and poised for what God is doing in your life every season. It shall always be well with you. God bless you abundantly!
PRAYER
Hymn: O Happy Day – Philip Doddridge (1755/1854)
1. Thank God for the past, present, and the future.
2. Father, all I need to serve You better with joy; please, release it to me!
3. Lord Jesus, help me understand You more and be patient for my season of glory.
(THE MIDNIGHT PRAYER)
1. I shall not mistake my helper as an enemy. Father, cause me to grow in favour with You and man.
2. Any power saying “no way” for me in my journey to greatness. Shut up and expire!
3. Any evil hand or finger pointed at my glory and that of my children and the Church. Wither now!
JOY HAS COME!
