ONLY JESUS CAN SAVE YOU!

Last night, I had a moment to watch the Champions League football match between Inter Milan and Barcelona. One of the highlights of the game was the outstanding performance of the Inter Milan goalkeeper. His name is Yann Sommer, a 6-foot-1-inch-tall Swiss who single-handedly saved his team from defeat. His consistency and incredible saves made him the player of the match.
If a man can demonstrate such accuracy to save fast-moving football shots, Jesus, who gave his life for the salvation of humanity, is capable of much more. The Bible tells us in today’s text that Christ’s name is a fortress and the fountain of salvation. Luke 19:1-10 exemplifies this truth with the story of Zacchaeus, the chief tax collector. This man had everything—power, influence, and resources—except salvation. However, the day Zacchaeus met Jesus, he repented and made restitution for all he acquired unlawfully with a much higher amount than required by law. When Jesus becomes your Lord, He will save you and realign your ways so you can enjoy lasting peace and joy.
The power in the name of Jesus also commands magnificent miracles. The scripture records that the blind see and the demons are cast out in Jesus’ name so much that the people were astonished beyond measure and said, “Jesus has done all things well. He makes both the deaf hear and the mute speak.” (Mark 7:37).
Beloved, whatever hard times you are experiencing in your career, business, marriage, or health, Christ is here to help you! You may have all, but lack salvation and peace; call upon Jesus. He shall save your soul more than Yann Sommer could do for his team. Jesus is the saving grace. If you have Him, you have everything!
