DON’T GIVE UP!
Proverbs 24:16 – For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief. (KJV)

There was a man whom no one, including his mother, expected anything good from. This is because he was born in sorrow and given a contrary name, Jabez. However, records show that this man refused to dismiss himself but cried out to God, and his story changed (1 Chronicles 4:9–10). Similarly, an impotent man had been at the pool of Bethesda for 38 years because he had no man to assist him. Yet he never gave up! One day, the man encountered Jesus, and his case was settled (John 5:1–9). I believe God for you this day that your situation is turning around, in Jesus’ name.
What is your story or limitation? Perhaps your poor background and a lack of connection have hindered you from getting a good job. Have you tasted several relationships, fasted, and prayed, all to no avail, and are still single? I beseech you never to give up but to look beyond the present and unto God.
Beloved, if Jabez can fulfil his destiny and the man at Bethesda can have a new beginning, God can breathe on you to transform your story, too. Do not stop praying and believing in God for your miracle. There will be light at the end of your tunnel, and you will rise again, as today’s Bible reading admonishes. Above all, Jesus is calling you to repentance if you have not surrendered your life to Him. I encourage you to give your all to Christ. He will strengthen your faith and realise your dreams.
