FRUITFULNESS (Part 13)
Hebrews 11:6 – And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (NIV)

The Bible focus for today shows that God responds to the faith of genuine seekers for the purpose of fruitfulness. Abraham is a perfect example of someone who had unwavering faith and was extraordinarily fruitful. He was childless at an old age when God gave him the promise of fathering nations. In Genesis 15:5-6, God told Abraham, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them, so shall your offspring be. Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness.” What happened thereafter was that God fulfilled His covenant with him.
Faith is crucial to fruitfulness in numbers and impact. From Abraham’s story, we can see that God places value on faith, which provoked a lifetime of innumerable expansion. Christ also emphasised the importance of faith when He said in Matthew 17:20, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Indeed, faith is the antidote to any impossibility, including fruitlessness.
Beloved, what are the issues or divine promises concerning your fruitfulness that you find difficult to believe? Until you “faith it out”, it might be impossible to experience exponential enlargement. With your little faith, you can trigger a shift in the realm of increase in numbers and impact. Moreover, as a child of God, you have the advantage of the Holy Spirit to dispel any unbelief you have and to strengthen you. Pray that the Holy Spirit should overshadow you in order to trust God for the manifestation of the Abrahamic encounters where your fruits become uncountable.
