POWERS OF THE TERRITORY
Matthew 12:29 – Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first binds the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. (KJV)

In Daniel 10, the angel sent to Daniel was held by the fallen angel in the territory of Persia, and it took Archangel Michael to come to his rescue. In verse 20, the angel said, “Now I must return to fight with the prince of Persia; and when I have gone forth, indeed the prince of Greece will come.” This means that another fallen angel was in charge of Greece, waiting to attack God’s angel.
The princes of Persia and Greece are territorial spirits who rule over the land. Their mission was to ensure that God’s plan for Israel would not prevail because the nation would become powerful. In the same way, there are satanic agents installed in the environments. These powers are ready to wipe away your glory and render you useless. They aim to terminate your prayer altar and relationship with God. They work day and night to hijack your answered prayers. But the good news is that there is assurance of victory for every child of God.
In today’s Bible reading, Jesus discusses the importance of arresting territorial powers to triumph in spiritual and physical matters. Before you can excel in that vicinity, career, or investment, you need a superior power to eject the dominant forces in that terrain. In the case of Daniel, his angel needed Archangel Michael to defend him against the two princes of darkness (Daniel 10:21). This day, you will engage the Holy Spirit and the host of heaven to arise for you and fight the battles of your life until you prevail. You will surely emerge victorious, in Jesus’ name.

1. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to the satanic powers within and around me so that I can use the right weapon for my victory.
2. War angels of the Lord! Take over my battles and claim all my blessings from the hands of the enemy.
