HUNT THE HUNTER!
1 Samuel 17:43-49 (43) – He said to David, “Am I a dog, that you come at me with sticks?” And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. (NIV)

A hunter seeks prey to tame and kill. Hunters are generally known for hunting animals. However, some hunters target human beings to tarnish their image and glory. John 10:10 reveals that Satan’s main agenda is hunting and destroying people’s destinies. In other words, the devil sponsors any scheme that hunts and terminates glories.
An excellent example of a satanic-backed attack was when Goliath intimidated Israel for days. His fear prevented the people from moving even an inch. However, after David came forward to confront the giant, Goliath’s responding actions, as seen in our Bible text, show his confidence in the devil. This is because he cursed David with his god and threatened to give the boy’s flesh to animals. But little David had the Lord of Hosts as his guiding force, and the Philistine hunter became the hunted with a single stone shot.
Beloved, it is possible that the enemy is actively pursuing you in your family, environment, or workplace. But don’t panic! If you surrender your life and the battles to God through fervent prayers, He will deliver you from your captors and silence your Goliath. Above all, be a carrier of God’s presence everywhere you go, and you will discover that any enemy that chases you will eventually end up in shame and defeat.

1. By the power that brought down Goliath, let all the hunters of my life and destiny replace me in captivity now!
2. Father, take away whatever equates to shame within and around my life.

2. Father! Arise in Your power to quench all my captors and oppressors.
3. I decree my freedom from every form of captivity, oppression, and delay. I receive divine speed to move into my place of glory by fire!
