SET YOUR MIND! (Part 2)
2 Kings 4:26 – Run to meet her and ask her, ‘Are you all right? Is your husband all right? Is your child all right?’” “Everything is all right,” she said. (NIV)
Read: 2 Kings 4:18-37
The Bible reveals that God has good intentions for mankind and can provide guidance through any challenges. However, individuals must stay positive and positioned to enjoy what the Lord has promised.
There are lessons to learn from the Shunammite woman in today’s Bible focus. Despite losing her son, this woman maintained her composure until Elisha raised her child back to life. What mainly qualified the woman and her child for the supernatural miracle was her mindset, which led her to say, “All is well,” amidst the difficult moment. The woman set her mind on God and believed that Prophet Elisha would revive her dead son.
Receiving or achieving anything tangible in life starts with the mind. There must be a deliberate intention to maintain positive attitudes in the soul. One such is faith, without which it is impossible to please God. Moreover, this faith comes by continuously hearing God’s Word (Romans 10:17). Proverbs 4:20-23 admonishes every child of God to pay attention to the Lord’s Word, not letting it out of their sight or heart, because all issues flow from it. This can only happen when the knowledge of God dwells richly within the people.
Beloved, make God your source, as the Shunammite woman did, and study the Bible to feed on it. This will prepare your mind for the move of God and to continually align with His will, wherein the supernatural takes effect in the realms of humanity.

2. I cast out every doubting spirit that has held me bound!
3. Jesus Christ—the doer of hard things, please make my impossibilities possible (mention).
