THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT
Isaiah 43:18 – “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. (NIV)
Read: Isaiah 43:15-19
The old is history, but the new reveals the currency of time. Whenever you hold on to the past, you are bound to stagnate. This is why the Bible text for today emphasises forgetting the unfavourable situations to focus on the future because God is committed to starting a new work in you. Before now, things might not be working or functioning partially, but the Lord Almighty shall fulfil His word and perfect all that concerns you, in Jesus’ name.
The Scriptures chronicle the story of a woman called Hannah. She desired a child and never allowed her circumstances or the mockery of people to derail her. Instead, she always went to Shiloh to pray, and one day, her season came so that she not only gave birth to Samuel but had five more children (1 Samuel 2:21). I pray for you this moment, heaven shall replace your years of anguish with great joy, in Jesus’ name.
Beloved, whatever the Lord has promised will surely come to pass (Psalm 62:11). The same God is saying you should not hold on to the past but rather believe that a chapter of new doors, higher glory, and divine connection is commencing in your life. Above all, always put God first. With prayer, Bible study, faith, and optimism, lines shall fall in pleasant places for you. You are blessed!
