POWER TO MAKE WEALTH
Deuteronomy 8:18 – But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. (KJV)

The world and organisations are experiencing challenges and economic difficulties. However, you need not panic if you are truly of God, who possesses the power to supply all you require to prosper.
God’s riches often originate from immaterial things. God will not rain down money from above; instead, He gives you a substance that can command wealth. This is what the Bible text for today means when it says that God gives you the power to make wealth. Wealth is a function of a divine deposit of ideas or substance. In the case of Joseph, God gave him ideas that caused Egypt to escape famine and become a global power (Genesis 41:27-57).
For the indebted widow who had a last pot of oil to feed in 2 Kings 4:1-7, the source of her financial breakthrough was the prophet’s instruction on how to use her substance. Elisha told her to borrow extra containers and fill them to the brim with the oil. The woman obeyed and sold them to clear her debts. She moved from debtorship to an oil merchant.
Beloved, what are you going through that makes you contemplate the future? Hold on in prayer and be sensitive to the Holy Spirit, who can empower you with the knowledge and power to maximise opportunities. He could also open your eyes to how you can profit from what you already possess but are unused. Don’t underestimate God’s ability in your life. Work diligently, play your part to pay your tithe and offering and see how God will turn things around for you.
