KNOWLEDGE IS POWER
John 16:12-15 (13) – But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. (NIV)

The times we live in require that we stay informed because we are products of the information we receive. Information is key to fulfilling one’s purpose in life because it eliminates aimlessness and time wasting. Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” If ignorance causes degradation, then the possession of information comes with elevation. An example is the children of Issachar, who understood the times and knew what to do in perfect timing, leading to their promotion and the control of power (1 Chronicles 12:32).
Joseph’s experience in Egypt is another excellent example. While in prison with the butler and baker, the lad interpreted the butler’s dream to mean that he would regain freedom and return to the palace. Years later, King Pharaoh had a mysterious dream that nobody could understand, and the freed butler recommended Joseph to the king. Joseph, who had God as his source of information, translated Pharaoh’s dream and saved Egypt from disaster. Because of this, he ascended to the position of power!
Beloved, the world requires problem solvers, not people who constitute liabilities. Information is power! Those who possess relevant information are problem solvers. Therefore, strive to acquire knowledge as much as possible, and you will attract significant attention (2 Timothy 2:15). Most importantly, connect to God, the right information source. The Bible text for today confirms that the Holy Spirit is the foundation of truth. Consistently live a righteous life and pay attention to His guidance. You will never be misled!
