WHEN DIVINITY MEETS DILIGENCE
Mark 5:25-34 (27-28) – When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” (NIV)
Read: Isaiah 41:10-14
God reserves all the power despite creating human beings to coexist and assist one another. This is because there are circumstances that human resources or science cannot solve, which only God can fix. One only needs to trust in God in order to activate their portion of the miraculous.
In the Bible text for today, the woman with the 12-year issue of blood was in a hopeless situation. But she took the step to touch Jesus because she knew the power was readily available upon Him, and immediately her story changed. No human or science could help the woman, but God did.
God can also use humans to help His children. There was a true life story of a village boy who travelled to the city and worked in a car wash. One day, a wealthy man came to clean his car and saw this boy working joyously and diligently. The man decided to help him. In sum, this former car washer now earns over $1 million in business each month. When diligence meets divinity, what is needed to fulfil destiny will become available.
Beloved, I pray for you this moment that as long as you remain prayerful and steadfast, wherever your helpers are, they shall locate and assist you, in Jesus’ name. Be sensitive and hardworking!
PRAYER
Hymn: Trust and Obey – John H. Sammis (1887)
1. Lord Jesus, please show me mercy, make me diligent, send help to me, and transform my story into glory.
2. Father, open my eyes to what I must do to activate my divine portion.
(MIDNIGHT PRAYER)
1. Father, make me, my family, and the Church pillars of support spiritually and materially for our generation.
2. Father, please set me up for the manifestation of Your power and glory!
